Navi Mumbai's festive season is not one event. It is a run — Ganesh Chaturthi opens it (in 2026, ten days from Monday 14 September to Anant Chaturdashi on Friday 25 September), Navratri and Dussehra follow, Diwali lands next, and then wedding invitations start arriving for people you had forgotten were engaged. Roughly three months of needing to look like you made an effort.
Most people shop it wrong. They buy for the next weekend, four separate times, at increasing prices and decreasing stock. The alternative is to treat the whole run as one wardrobe and shop it in two or three planned sessions. Here is how to do that from Navi Mumbai, and what is worth buying in person versus ordering to your door.
Start at Aurum Mall, Ghansoli
Stylera's store is at Aurum Mall in Ghansoli, which is the practical anchor for anyone in the Vashi–Airoli–Ghansoli–Kopar Khairane belt. It is a multi-brand store, which matters more than it sounds: instead of walking between six single-brand outlets comparing a kurta here to a shirt there, the whole roster sits in one place and you can try things against each other.
If you have not been, three guides do the groundwork. The ultimate Ghansoli and Aurum Mall shopping guide is the orientation piece. The Aurum Mall stores directory tells you what else is in the building, so you can plan a single trip rather than three. And the Aurum Square fashion shopping guide covers the fashion side specifically. If you would rather see outfits than floor plans, five looks from the Stylera store shows what the racks actually turn into.
Everything in the store is also on stylera.co, which ships across India — so the store trip is about fit and the site is about everything else. More on that split below.

Buy this in person
Anything fit-critical. Ethnic wear is the obvious case. Kurta length, sleeve length and where a yoke sits are all things you decide in thirty seconds in a trial room and agonise over for a week online. Women's kurta sets and co-ord sets especially — a set has to work as a set, and photographs lie about proportion. The Krya cotton kurtas at ₹699–₹799 and the embroidered Prisachi pieces sit at opposite ends of the same rack, which is exactly the comparison you want to make with both in your hands.
Menswear where the shoulder matters. A short kurta from Uri at ₹1,099 or a structured shirt from LYVN is worth trying on once; after that you know your size and can reorder online forever. The men's Ganpati guide, festive ethnic looks and the kurta pyjama guide cover what to look for.
Footwear. Always. Indian sizing is inconsistent across brands and festive shoes get walked in far more than anyone plans for. Try Plaeto and ZHOE sneakers on, and for occasion flats, note that Rettrose runs one to two pairs per style — see it, like it, buy it, because there is no coming back next weekend.
Limited-run pieces generally. The hand-embroidered Unhynged shirts are two units each. Anything at that depth is a store decision, not a bookmark.

Gifting. Fragrance, jewellery and bags have no fit risk, so there is no reason to carry them home in a bag. Solera is ₹999 for 100ml, Fraganote is ₹1,199 for 50ml, and Just Lil Things covers the small-jewellery bracket. Our festive gifting guide and gifts under ₹1,500 are the shortlists; for Ganpati specifically, what to take when you are invited for darshan.
Repeat buys. Once a brand's size is known, colour is the only variable left. That is a two-minute order, not a trip.
Kids. Children grow between festivals anyway, and dragging them around a mall is nobody's idea of a good evening. Kids, Nap Chief and Born Plus are easier from the sofa.

The order to shop in
Work backwards from what each occasion demands.
- Ganpati. Breathable cotton, first. September in Navi Mumbai is warm, humid and still capable of raining on you, and pandal visits mean shoes off, shoes on, and a lot of walking. Cotton kurtas and easy shirts beat anything heavy. See the Ganesh Chaturthi outfit guide, the Mumbai Ganpati outfit guide and, for immersion day, the visarjan guide.
- Navratri and Dussehra. Colour-led and high-movement. Nine nights is a lot of outfits, which is where co-ords and mix-and-match separates earn their keep. Start with the Navratri colour guide, nine nights of outfit ideas and Dussehra picks.
- Diwali. The dressiest stretch, and the one where embroidered sets and proper footwear pay off. Diwali outfit ideas and festive wear from Onam to Diwali map the whole arc.
- Wedding season. It follows immediately and it is expensive if you start from zero. Wedding guest outfits for women and men's wedding shirts cover it.

Planning one trip that covers the season
Give yourself a weekday evening or an early weekend slot rather than a Saturday night in October, when every mall in Navi Mumbai is running at festival pace.
Go with a list of occasions, not a list of garments. Four Ganpati days, three Navratri nights, one Diwali dinner, two weddings — that is ten wearings, and ten wearings do not need ten outfits. Two cotton kurtas, one dressier set, one good shirt and one pair of shoes covers most of it if the pieces are chosen to combine.
Buy the fit-critical things while you are there and photograph anything you liked but did not buy, so you can order it later without re-deciding. And buy footwear on the same trip as the outfit; matching shoes to a garment you already own is far harder than the reverse.
If you want the reasoning behind shopping a multi-brand rack instead of brand by brand, this piece makes the case. And because the season starts in the tail of the monsoon, monsoon fashion essentials is more relevant in September than it sounds.
FAQ
Where is the Stylera store in Navi Mumbai?
At Aurum Mall in Ghansoli. The Ghansoli and Aurum Mall guide covers getting there and what to expect, and the stores directory lists what else is in the building.
Is the in-store range the same as the website?
The same multi-brand roster runs across both, and stylera.co ships India-wide. Stock on any individual style moves, though — particularly the limited runs, where a style can be down to one or two units.
When should I start festive shopping?
Earlier than feels necessary. Buying before Ganesh Chaturthi rather than during it means full size runs and a calmer store, and most of what you buy carries through to Diwali anyway.
What if I only have time for one shopping trip?
Spend it on fit and footwear. Try on ethnic wear and shoes in person, note your size in each brand, and order gifting, accessories and repeat colours online afterwards.
