Plaeto or ZHOE?

Plaeto is the broader and cheaper of the two, and covers both men's and women's. Slam 2.0 training shoes in black, white and navy at INR 2,499; Maidaan in grey and black at INR 2,199; the Classic sneakers in beige, black, grey and olive at INR 2,399, with the Classic 929 in white, black and blue at INR 2,599. What to look for

These are deliberately unbranded silhouettes, and that is the trade: a clean shoe between INR 949 and INR 2,599, without the logo or the cushioning technology of an imported running shoe. Whites look best and stain fastest, particularly through monsoon, so a black or beige pair is the more honest choice if the shoes get worn hard. High-ankles hold the foot better but run warm for most of the Indian year. Shoe sizing differs between the two labels, so check the size run on each product page.
