Sash Footwear: Mules, Flats and Slides for Women (2026 Brand Guide)

Sash Laila black studded mules for women at Stylera

Sash makes one promise and keeps it: every single style is flat. No block heels, no kitten heels, no wedges. Fourteen pieces in stock at Stylera, from Rs.1,990 rattan slides to Rs.2,999 studded mules — and all of them are designed for standing, walking and getting through a wedding function without a second pair in your bag.

For a category where "occasion footwear" usually means a heel you regret by 9pm, that is a genuinely useful position. Here is the whole range.

The mules: the dressiest thing here

Mules are the most underrated occasion shoe in India — closed at the toe, open at the back, so they read finished without trapping heat.

  • Laila (Rs.2,999) — black faux leather with metal studs. The edgiest pair Sash makes, and the easiest to wear with western occasion clothes.
  • Emma (Rs.2,999) — the same studded construction in beige. Neutral, so it works against more colours than the black.
  • Mocha Mules (Rs.2,600) — brown slip-ons with a minimalist design. The most office-appropriate pair in the range.
  • Scarlet Mules (Rs.2,600) — slip-on mules with a metallic finish, for when the shoe is meant to be noticed.

The cushioned flats: for the long days

These are the two pairs to buy if you are on your feet. Both are ultra-cushioned flats finished with pearl strings — the detail keeps them from looking utilitarian while the cushioning does the real work.

  • Mellow Yellow (Rs.2,299) — butter yellow with pearl strings.
  • Cool Blue (Rs.2,299) — powder blue, same construction.

The brand positions both as working equally with festive and ethnic wear, work kurtas and casual denim — which is accurate, and unusual. A pastel flat is far more flexible than a gold sandal that only leaves the box for weddings. Pair them with anything from our kurta edit.

The flat sandals: the festive workhorses

Five pairs at Rs.2,200, all flat, all embellished:

  • Cleopatra Flats — white flat sandals with gold studs. The most formal of the five.
  • Athena Flats — the same gold-stud treatment in tan, which is the more forgiving colour for Indian daytime events.
  • Chained Flats in Tan, in Red and in Navy Blue — a delicate chain across the strap. Tan is the everyday pick; red is the one for a function.

The rattan slides: summer and travel

The Woven Whisper range (Rs.1,990) is the entry point to the brand and the most seasonal. Micro-fibre slides finished with natural handwoven rattan, in Tan, Black and Beige. Lightweight, breathable and cut as slides, so they go on without bending down — which matters more than it sounds when you are getting out of a car in a saree.

Which pair should you buy?

  1. One pair for everything: Athena Flats in tan. Gold studs read festive, tan reads neutral, and flat means you can wear them all day.
  2. Wedding season: Mellow Yellow or Cool Blue, because cushioning is what gets you through a four-function week.
  3. Office: Mocha Mules — closed toe, minimal, brown goes with everything.
  4. Evening: Laila in black studded.
  5. Summer and holidays: Woven Whisper in beige, at Rs.1,990 the cheapest way into the brand.

Caring for faux leather and rattan

  • Wipe faux leather with a soft damp cloth and dry immediately — it does not like sitting wet.
  • Keep rattan detailing out of heavy rain. Natural fibre swells and dries stiff.
  • Store mules upright rather than stacked; the open back creases if something presses on it.
  • Studs and chains catch on fine knits and chiffon — put these pairs at the bottom of the wardrobe, not next to your dupattas.

Sash FAQ

Does Sash make heels at all?

Not in the range currently stocked at Stylera. Everything in stock is flat — mules, flats, sandals and slides. If you need height, this is the wrong brand; if you have given up on heels, it is exactly the right one.

Are flats formal enough for a wedding?

The studded and chained pairs are built for it. Cleopatra in white with gold studs and the Chained Flats in red both read as occasion footwear, and you will still be standing at the end of the sangeet.

Which pair works with both kurtas and jeans?

The cushioned pearl flats — Mellow Yellow and Cool Blue — are specifically designed to cross over, and the tan Chained Flats do the same job in a more neutral colour.

How do the sizes run?

Take your usual Indian shoe size. With slides and mules in particular, if you are between sizes go with the smaller one — an open-back shoe that is slightly loose will slip at the heel.
